Thanks to Stacey for this one.

She assures me that it’s an easy recipe. I haven’t made it yet, but I will because it sounds nice.
Stacey recommends listening to Tool's Undertow while making this. Why? Because she likes it, that’s why…don’t ask so many questions!

Chocolate Almond Candy

1 1/2 oz powdered sugar (for UK folk I believe this means icing sugar)
1 1/2 ounces of butter, you have to use butter, none of that margarine crap. (Do as you’re told people, no nasty margarine, it’s butter or you’re not allowed to make it)
1 lb halved or sliced almonds
1 lb of milk or dark chocolate

Put almonds in the oven until the nuts sweat ( light toast)

Caramelise powdered sugar in a skillet until it's light brown

Add almonds and stir continuously until the sugar caramelises then add the butter and continue to stir to evenly distribute caramelised sugar.

Almonds should look like you gave them a full toast in the oven.

Spread out on a pan and allow to cool down completely.

Melt chocolate.

When nuts are cool, place in bowl with chocolate. stir. drop mixture on a sheet pan lined with parchment or wax paper, how big you want to make them is up to you.

Allow choclate to set.

Ta da! You have a tasty and addictive candy to fill your tummy.
It's a pretty quick to make, but it can be messy. Make sure you use a big enough skillet to hold and stir a lb of almonds.
